At CareerPaths NW, we are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Systems Specialist to join our team. As a Lead Fire Alarm Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting fire alarm and related systems across various structures, including multifamily residences, mixed-use commercial properties, assisted living facilities, and high-rise buildings.

As a key member of our team, you will mentor and guide an apprentice, ensuring the transfer of knowledge and skills. You will also manage multiple inspections daily for smaller accounts, or oversee large, multi-day inspections. Your role will involve collaborating with other trades on projects involving related systems, adhering to and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure thorough and accurate inspections.

We are looking for a positive, family-friendly attitude with a strong fit for a collaborative and supportive culture. You should have a NICET II certification and O6 Electrical license, as well as a minimum of two years of experience in fire protection system inspections. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of fire alarm and related systems in multifamily, commercial, assisted living, and high-rise structures.
  • Mentor and guide an apprentice, ensuring the transfer of knowledge and skills.
  • Manage multiple inspections daily for smaller accounts, or oversee large, multi-day inspections.
  • Collaborate with other trades on projects involving related systems.
  • Adhere to and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure thorough and accurate inspections.
  • Maintain organization, punctuality, and professionalism on all job sites.
  • Perform service calls as needed, with potential for additional compensation.

Qualifications:

  • NICET II certification and O6 Electrical license required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in fire protection system inspections.
  • Positive, family-friendly attitude with a strong fit for a collaborative and supportive culture.
  • Ability to follow directions and accept feedback constructively.
  • Highly organized, punctual, and able to lead by example.
