Position Summary:

At PlowShare, our Analytics team is driven by a mission to create positive change. We are committed to delivering top-tier solutions in data and measurement, with a focus on empowering our clients in the public and nonprofit sectors.

As a Media Data Analyst, you will report to the SVP of Data Innovations and play a pivotal role in updating various reports, assisting in measurement strategies, and generating actionable insights. This position offers the chance to utilize your data and analytics expertise to develop automated dashboards and enhance media planning and operations for both clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and evaluate media data from diverse sources, including social media, traditional media, and digital platforms.
  • Assist in crafting comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Support the formulation and execution of media strategies informed by data insights.
  • Collaborate with the media team to refine media campaigns and assess their effectiveness.
  • Employ media analytics tools to derive significant data and insights.
  • Engage in team discussions and contribute innovative ideas for enhancing media analysis processes.
Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Strong analytical capabilities with a knack for interpreting complex datasets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data visualization.
  • Experience with Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools.
  • Basic knowledge of media metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with media monitoring and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in media analysis, market research, or a related field.
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and their analytical tools.
  • Experience with Google Ads, Campaign Manager 360, and other Google Marketing Platform tools.
