Job Title: Sales Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Sales Operations Manager to join our team at Align Communications. As a key member of our Data Center Solutions team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day sales support operations in our Plano office and collaborating with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and the manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise sales operations, including growth objectives, executing department goals, and special projects
  • Evaluate the efficiency of business procedures and apply improvements to promote profitability
  • Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to optimize performance
  • Manage the local Plano, TX team, including purchasing, pricing, procurement, CW and document control, close out P&L/project close out, and inventory tracking
  • Work closely with the Legal, Compliance, and Accounting departments to ensure compliance and accuracy in procurement and shipping documentation
  • Develop and implement methods and procedures to eliminate customer delivery problems and improve delivery times
  • Manage special projects, including integrated rack build services, data center containment solutions, and re-selling opportunities
  • Effectively communicate with the Data Center Solutions line of business and support projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a comparable field
  • Five to ten years of progressive responsibility in sales operations, sales support, and/or supply chain management
  • Familiarity with the Data Center Industry
  • Motivated, entrepreneurial, and out-of-the-box thinking
  • Experience in warehouse management and procurement is a plus
  • Proven team management experience
  • Integrated rack build experience
  • Strong Excel and MS Office skills
  • Proven leadership and employee development skills
