Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Body Shop Receptionist to join our team at Conicelli Autoplex. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing daily operations, and ensuring a smooth workflow in our busy body shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the body shop team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as needed.
  • Scheduling: Schedule appointments for damages appraisals, drop off, and pickup, as well as manage the body shop's calendar and ensure that all appointments are up-to-date.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, insurance adjusters, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and up-to-date on the status of repairs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, repairs, and other relevant information.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the body shop team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: One year of experience in a customer service or administrative role preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in computer software and systems.
  • Qualifications: Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information, effective writing and math skills, and basic understanding of the collision repair process and administrative issues.
Working Conditions

The Body Shop Receptionist will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and deadlines. The position requires the ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and maintain a professional demeanor in a customer-facing role.
