Sales Representative

At Rudd Equipment, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for securing profitable business for the company through effective sales presentations, administration, and other duties as specified by the Branch Vice President and/or Equipment Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Securing orders and conducting surveys of assigned territory
- Planning sales calls and conducting presentations
- Reviewing equipment features and benefits
- Assisting customers with problems and issues
- Maintaining customer relationships and new contracts
- Maintaining sales calls and various reports
- Following up on all leads and contract lettings
- Managing and controlling travel, telephone usage, and entertainment expenses
- Informing manager of changes in territory
- Maintaining a high degree of sales professionalism
Requirements:
- College degree and/or a combination of education and equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of verifiable success in equipment sales
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic and ability to accurately compare and transcribe figures
- Knowledge and experience in sales, marketing, and/or business
- Ability to prioritize work week and work independently
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
- Excellent customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expert level aptitude on M3 Sales Automation
- Proficient in English and excellent written and oral communication skills
Work Environment:
- Sales field environment
- Full-time, exempt position
- Normal days of work are Monday through Friday
- Travel throughout the assigned territory is required
