Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven HVAC Sales Representative to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our building automation systems to owners at the Director and/or Vice President level.

Your primary focus will be on promoting the Johnson Controls value proposition to building owner end-users by providing business and technical solutions. You will build and manage long-term customer relationships/partnerships with assigned accounts, selling new projects, unscheduled service repairs, and new planned service agreements to new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell Johnson Controls offerings persuasively, persistently, and confidently to building owners at the D-level while reaching optimal profit levels.
  • Focus on improving existing and new facilities to allow the building owner to achieve business objectives.
  • Sell, renew, and expand renewable service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing assigned customers.
  • Build partnering relationships with the owner or owner representatives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the sale of Johnson Controls offerings.
  • Address customer's operational and environmental objectives, needs, and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year of successful field sales experience.
  • Minimum of one year successfully selling Commercial HVAC or building automation system industry.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline.
