Job Title: Audit Manager

Job Summary:

Wall, Einhorn & Chernitzer, P.C. is seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager to join our team. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading audit engagements, supervising staff, and ensuring the quality of our work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead audit engagements from start to finish, analyzing potential problems and recommending solutions
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Review and prepare workpapers and work performed by the audit team to ensure compliance with professional standards
  • Monitor the quality of our product and the performance of our audit team
  • Understand client service relationships and how to utilize firm resources to maximize client satisfaction
  • Responsible for billing in accordance with agreed upon terms
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years relevant work experience required
  • Current or previous experience as an Audit Supervisor or Manager in a public accounting firm required
  • Current CPA license required
  • Experience with operating companies and not-for-profits preferred
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
