Position: Senior Audit Lead / Audit Team Leader

Department: Audit & Assurance

Location: Flexible (On-site, Hybrid, or Remote)

Role Overview: The Senior Audit Lead and Audit Team Leader will collaborate with Audit & Assurance Partners to strategize, execute, and oversee various audit engagements, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within established timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Employ advanced analytical methodologies to enhance engagement productivity.
  • Review and prepare documentation and work completed by the audit team to ensure adherence to GAAP, GAAS, Internal Revenue Code, and other professional standards in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage the audit process from initiation to completion, identifying potential challenges and proposing effective solutions.
  • Evaluate the quality of deliverables and the performance of the audit team.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff members.
  • Understand client service dynamics and leverage firm resources to optimize client satisfaction.
  • Oversee billing processes in accordance with agreed terms.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience required.
  • Current or prior experience as an Audit Lead or Manager in a public accounting environment is essential.
  • Active CPA license is mandatory.
  • Experience with both operating companies and not-for-profit organizations is preferred.
  • Strong leadership and analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
