Job Summary

The Regional People Partner will serve as the primary HR partner for the region, driving results and maximizing HR impact across multiple airport locations. This role will oversee all HR activity within the region, focusing on employee relations, union interactions, training, and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance to regional and airport leadership teams on HR-related matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead employee relations efforts, including labor relations, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Implement training programs for managers and employees, focusing on compliance, operational efficiency, and leadership development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Coach managers on performance management practices, supporting ongoing feedback and development conversations.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
  • Partner with talent acquisition to drive recruitment efforts and onboard top talent.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on labor relations, preferably in the retail or travel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working in unionized environments and managing collective bargaining agreements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel to various airport locations as needed.
