Position Overview
The Product & Agile Enablement team is dedicated to empowering product teams to focus on customer needs, providing streamlined, efficient methods to align strategies, utilize data for informed decision-making, and enhance operational workflows. The team is responsible for three key areas:
- Enabling Product Teams through formation, training, launches, and agile coaching for ongoing improvement.
- Managing Product/Agile tools, metrics, and dashboards to establish lean standards, configurations, and integrations for automated visibility.
- Overseeing product governance, which includes aligning executive strategies through quarterly reviews, product showcases, and strategic planning events.
The Senior Manager of Product Operations & Governance is responsible for developing and executing organizational routines that facilitate alignment from CEO to Engineer, transitioning from a project-oriented to a product-focused mindset. This role plays a crucial part in the selection, configuration, training, and adoption of Agile Tools necessary for Product Portfolios and teams to manage their workflows effectively. Additionally, it involves consulting with Finance, Product, and GTS leaders to guide them through change implementations and engage in coaching discussions with executive leaders.
This position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of leading and instigating change within technology-driven organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Portfolio Excellence leaders to devise strategies and plans for product agility alignment routines, agile tooling capabilities, training, and adoption across Product Portfolios and teams.
- Partner with various departments to create a cohesive tooling strategy that fosters transparency and traceability between investments and outcomes.
- Oversee Finance-related KPI/OKR success measures essential for maintaining an effective product funding model.
- Engage with Product Portfolios/Product Teams to identify their constraints, needs, and opportunities regarding Agile Tools for enhanced transparency, alignment, and agility.
- Coordinate with Portfolio and Product & Agile Enablement teams to ensure governance and alignment practices facilitate effective product work management and automated capitalization traceability.
- Work alongside Product & Portfolio leaders to provide visibility into key metrics and system integrations.
- Develop educational and coaching plans, along with support models for teams adopting Agile Tools standards and practices.
- Utilize industry best practices to cultivate an environment that empowers product teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Lead transformation initiatives through a Product Operating Model framework rather than relying solely on SAFe practices.
- Establish relationships with senior leaders across the organization to effectively drive change.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing large-scale digital transformations across multiple departments.
- Experience in developing organizational change management frameworks and coordinating technology events.
- Leadership or supervisory experience, particularly in a matrixed organizational structure.
- Experience collaborating with finance and enterprise planning teams to align tools and practices.
- Ability to translate the needs of Portfolio and Product Teams into actionable strategies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Benefits
The annual base salary range is $120,000 - $155,000, along with short-term incentives based on individual and company performance. Salary is determined by education, experience, skills, and market data alignment. Foot Locker, Inc.'s total compensation package includes the following benefits:
