Dallas, Texas, United States Foot Locker Full time

Overview

The mission of the Product & Agile Enablement team is to empower product teams to concentrate on their customers by providing streamlined, efficient, and frictionless methods to align strategies, utilize data for informed decision-making, and enhance operational workflows. This team is primarily engaged in three key areas: 1) Enabling Product Teams through formation, training, launch, and agile coaching to foster continuous improvement. 2) Managing Product/Agile tools, metrics, and dashboards; establishing lean standards, configurations, and integrations to facilitate automated transparency. 3) Overseeing product governance, which encompasses executive strategy alignment routines such as quarterly business reviews, product showcases, and strategic alignment planning events.

The Senior Manager of Product Operations & Governance is tasked with evolving and executing the organizational routines for CEO-to-Engineer alignment practices, guiding the transition from a project-based to a product-oriented mindset. This role will also play a crucial part in influencing the acquisition, configuration, training, and adoption of Agile Tools necessary for Product Portfolios and teams to manage their work, align their objectives and metrics, and comprehend their workflow. Acting as a consultant to Finance, Product, and GTS leaders, this position requires hands-on guidance for implementing change and engaging in coaching discussions with executive leaders across the organization, representing multiple Product Agility Enablement teams simultaneously.

This position demands a seasoned professional with a proven history of leading and driving transformation within technology organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with Portfolio Excellence leaders to develop strategies and plans for product agility alignment routines, agile tooling capabilities, training, and adoption across Product Portfolios and teams.
  • Partner with Finance, Product Management & Technology, Product Enablement, and Portfolio Management teams to ensure a cohesive tooling strategy that promotes transparency and traceability between investments and outcomes.
  • Accountable for Finance-related KPI/OKR success measures that are essential for supporting a high-functioning product funding model and maintaining agile labor capitalization outcomes that align with our evolving operational methods.
  • Work alongside Product Portfolios/Product Teams to identify their constraints, needs, and opportunities concerning Agile Tools to enhance transparency, alignment, and agility.
  • Coordinate with Portfolio and Product & Agile Enablement to harmonize governance and alignment practices that facilitate the management of product work, portfolio/product roadmaps, and alignment of product metrics (KPIs and OKRs) alongside automated capitalization traceability.
  • Collaborate with Product & Portfolio leaders to provide transparency into key metrics and integrations with related systems where applicable.
  • Design educational and coaching plans, along with support models, to assist teams in adopting Agile Tools standards and practices in conjunction with Agile Coaching and Agile Orchestration teams.
  • Utilize industry best practices to aid product leaders in creating an environment that fosters empowered product teams delivering exceptional results.
  • Lead transformation through a Product Operating Model, as our environment does not operate under a project or scaled agile framework model. SAFe practices are not applicable in this context.
  • Continuously build relationships with senior leaders across the organization to influence and inspire change.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing large-scale digital transformation across multi-department organizations.
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing organizational change management frameworks, enterprise-level messaging, and coordinating large-scale tech events.
  • 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, particularly in growing and managing a team within a matrixed environment.
  • 2 years of experience collaborating with finance and enterprise planning teams to align tooling and practices.
  • Ability to translate Portfolio and Product Team requirements into actionable plans for coaching, tooling support, and the establishment of new organizational routines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, including content creation, product mindset adoption at scale, resource deployment, and capability development.
