Central to our product offering is a financial incentive mechanism: we encourage patients to seek care from top-performing providers by reimbursing their out-of-pocket expenses. The Payments team plays a crucial role in developing a comprehensive payment ecosystem that ensures Garner's incentives are delivered swiftly and reliably across various payment channels.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the autonomy to shape and enhance our payments ecosystem, which includes:

  • Developing member-facing products and experiences.
  • Creating internal tools for our payment operations team.
  • Enhancing our core payment systems and accumulators.

Your projects may involve:

  • Designing a card product that facilitates health expense payments at the point of sale.
  • Building solutions for integrating with health savings accounts.
  • Introducing new payment channels to expedite and simplify member reimbursements.
Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management.
  • A self-motivated individual who thrives on taking ownership of complex challenges.
  • A passionate learner with a proven ability to master intricate domains and become a trusted resource for others.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating your vision and driving execution across teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, utilizing data to inform product intuition and decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in software engineering or data science, or a degree in computer science or engineering.
  • Background in developing financial products.
  • Experience managing large-scale data systems.

The compensation for this role is competitive and reflects the skills and qualifications of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for equity incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
