POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Client Relationship Specialist role is designed to deliver an outstanding customer experience by building, nurturing, and strengthening long-term relationships with both existing and potential clients. This position entails processing transactions and collaborating as part of the platform team. By understanding and addressing clients' financial requirements, the specialist will offer tailored solutions that cater to the customer's entire financial journey through our consultative sales and service approach.
Responsible for managing risk, this role encourages open dialogue, raises concerns, and adheres to established policies and procedures. It is crucial to consistently prioritize the best interests of customers and colleagues, ensuring that actions contribute positively to the customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk framework, success is achieved by effectively identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting various types of risks.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Deliver a memorable customer experience by developing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships within an assigned portfolio through proactive outreach via various channels.
2. Employ a consultative approach to identify and address the needs of current and prospective clients, providing tailored recommendations and solutions.
3. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the products, services, and processes available.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met and issues are resolved effectively.
5. Evaluate customer credit information and related financial data to ensure alignment with appropriate solutions.
6. Provide necessary customer support, emphasizing the value of both existing and new technologies.
7. Process transactions accurately while adhering to balancing protocols.
8. Uphold the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, exemplifying the ethical standards expected of all employees.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, or a college degree or equivalent military service.
- Proven ability to develop comfort with acquiring new clients and deepening existing relationships.
- Ability to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally in both verbal and written communication.
- Exhibits strong business acumen.
- Demonstrated capacity for sound decision-making.
- This position requires SAFE Act registration upon employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
- Standard office setting.
