Job Title: Corporate Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Controls Engineer to join our team at Daisy Brand. As a key member of our Corporate Controls Engineering Department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing controls and automation systems for our manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and install plant controls and automation systems, including PLC programming, HMI development, and MES data collection.
  • Provide technical support for controls and automation systems, utilizing our HELP Desk System.
  • Design and specify plant control system architecture, including control panels, hardware, and communication protocols.
  • Develop and enforce process controls standards.
  • Partner with 3rd-party controls engineering partners.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a controls and automation engineering role in the food and beverage, consumer goods, or similar industry.
  • Advanced ladder logic programming within Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix) is required.
  • Advanced HMI development is required, preferably within Wonderware (Aveva) Archestra System Platform.
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming principles is required.
  • Familiarity with design/specification of process control panels is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in food and beverage, or similar industry with high sanitary standards utilizing CIP cleaning and sterilization.
  • Experience with Wonderware MES, or a similar MES platform.
  • Experience with.NET programming environment.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Experience with Ethernet/IP communication within a plant control system.
