Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an independent verification and validation (IV&V) strategy and project Design Verification Plan (DVP).
  • Support the monitoring and controlling of IV&V efforts and strategic IV&V planning.
  • Evaluate and work on defects, concerns, and change requests.
  • Support requirements management and system design failure mode and effects analysis (DFMEA) / fault tree analysis (FTA).
  • Summarize, optimize, and finalize DVP and report overall project DVP status to stakeholders.
  • Provide release recommendations based on IV&V results.
Your Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and 5 or more years of practical experience or a Master's degree in engineering and 2 or more years of practical experience.
  • Understanding of vehicle powertrain architectures and components.
  • Basic understanding of electric machines and controls of hydraulics and heat transfer.
  • Understanding of modeling and simulating electric or mechatronic systems.
  • Experience in functional safety of mechatronic systems.
  • Experience in risk analysis and DFMEA.
  • Experience in presenting engineering topics and moderating discussions.
  • Experience in solving engineering problems.

  • Competitive salary range: $75,000 - $120,000
  • Hiring bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 180 days
