Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement an independent verification and validation (IV&V) strategy and project Design Verification Plan (DVP).
- Support the monitoring and controlling of IV&V efforts and strategic IV&V planning.
- Evaluate and work on defects, concerns, and change requests.
- Support requirements management and system design failure mode and effects analysis (DFMEA) / fault tree analysis (FTA).
- Summarize, optimize, and finalize DVP and report overall project DVP status to stakeholders.
- Provide release recommendations based on IV&V results.
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and 5 or more years of practical experience or a Master's degree in engineering and 2 or more years of practical experience.
- Understanding of vehicle powertrain architectures and components.
- Basic understanding of electric machines and controls of hydraulics and heat transfer.
- Understanding of modeling and simulating electric or mechatronic systems.
- Experience in functional safety of mechatronic systems.
- Experience in risk analysis and DFMEA.
- Experience in presenting engineering topics and moderating discussions.
- Experience in solving engineering problems.
- Competitive salary range: $75,000 - $120,000
- Hiring bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 180 days
- Hybrid work schedule
- 6% 401(k) company match
