Senior Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our team at Applied Resource Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation and control systems for our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and commissioning of Allen Bradley PLC (ControlLogix) systems for automation across various manufacturing facilities.
  • Design and program Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems, ensuring efficient operator interactions and system functionality, with a preference for Wonderware (Aveva) ArchestrA System Platform.
  • Provide on-site support for automation and controls systems, ensuring high performance and minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with third-party controls engineering partners to deliver and manage key projects.

Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix).
  • Demonstrated expertise in HMI development, preferably within Wonderware (Aveva) ArchestrA System Platform.
  • Proven experience in the Food & Beverage industry or similar environments with high sanitary standards.
  • Strong background in designing and specifying process control systems, including hardware, control panels, and communication protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in controls engineering within the food & beverage or consumer goods sectors.
  • Familiarity with MES platforms,.NET programming, SQL databases, and Ethernet/IP communication.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for project support at various Daisy Brand manufacturing sites.
