Job Title: Senior Quality Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Systems Engineer to join our team at Schaeffler. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead sub-project management for all quality-related topics leading up to series production launch.
  • Act as the quality contact to customers and project teams, supporting the APQP process and ensuring successful launch.
  • Communicate customer requirements to project teams and provide quality reporting within the project team and business division.
  • Develop and implement prototype control plans, pre-series control plans, and series control plans, as well as support test plan creation.
  • Coordinate product-specific measurement strategies in early project phases and participate in standardizing product-specific measurement processes.
  • Support quality-relevant topics in project-specific or system-specific audits, reviews, or assessments.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and 5+ years of practical experience or Master's degree in engineering and 2+ years of practical experience.
  • Knowledge of AIAG manuals and related industry standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Goal and results-oriented.
  • Analytical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Superior knowledge of IATF 16949 and/or ISO 9001 and/or AS910.
  • Strong project management skills.
What We Offer:
  • Salary range: $75,000 - $120,000.
  • Hiring Bonus: $500 after 90 days, $1000 after 180 days.
  • Hybrid work schedule.
  • 6% 401(k) company match.
