Job Title: Front Desk Customer Service Representative

At Goldfish Swim School, we're looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Front Desk Customer Service Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales and registration transactions, and ensuring a positive experience for our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch customer service to our guests, responding to inquiries, taking messages, and directing phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Process student registrations using effective sales and customer service techniques, ensuring a seamless experience for our members.
  • Schedule and manage birthday and pool parties, supervising private party staff to ensure a fun and safe experience for our guests.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in customer service.
  • Assist members with purchases of merchandise and vending, providing a convenient and hassle-free experience.
  • Greet parents and students as they report to the front desk, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Check in students on our attendance tracking system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the front desk area, Snack Shack, changing areas, restrooms, and observation area, upholding our high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Monitor the Snack Shack area and provide guidance to Snack Shack staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Check voicemail and email correspondence, responding in a timely manner to ensure prompt communication with our guests.
  • Update informational displays with accurate and timely promotions and literature, keeping our guests informed and engaged.
  • Provide occasional administrative support to management personnel, including the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, demonstrating a willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Makes collection calls to resolve open account problems, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.
  • Prepare twice-daily student lesson schedules for use by instructors and management staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents, administering first aid when necessary.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
  • Two years of previous customer service and/or administrative office experience required.
  • Intermediate level computer skills required, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and other software systems.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required.
Work Environment:

While performing this job, the employee is exposed to heat and humidity occasionally. Noise level is usually moderate.

Compensation:

$13.50 per hour
