Seattle, Washington, United States Amazon Full time
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to drive the development of curbside recyclable packaging solutions for Amazon's MSP team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, designing, developing, testing, and scaling paper-based curbside recyclable packaging solutions that meet Amazon's priorities on safety, productivity, sustainability, regulatory risk, and cost.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with Ops, Suppliers, Tech, BIEs, and TPMs to develop the classification strategy and acceptance criteria for sustainable packaging solutions
  • Develop and implement operational test plans for rapid learning and iteration of packaging design and material specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy automated packing technologies across Amazon's network
  • Develop and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to milestones and performance across all projects
  • Engage with Amazon business units globally to share best practices and improve end-to-end outcomes for Amazon customers
About the Team

The MSP organization works backwards from the customer experience to deploy packaging technologies that harmonize with Amazon's priorities. We develop mechanisms to match our expanding product catalog to the finite set of boxes available in our fulfillment centers. We own initiatives that replace traditional corrugate boxes with less wasteful options, including flexible pack types and forgoing Amazon packaging altogether.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
