Job Summary

The Sales Engineer is responsible for generating new business and driving growth by efficiently managing existing accounts. This role requires assessing the potential application of company products and offering solutions that meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Find new opportunities to grow and expand business for companywide future growth.
  • Identify target customers and prepare sales strategy to achieve the sales target.
  • Collect market information and provide feedback to Sales Department Head and/or Sales Director to collaborate on sales strategy.
  • Work directly with customers and provide detailed feedback into Nidec organization.
  • Travel to manufacturing locations globally to support future launches and current production issues.
Requirements
  • Results-oriented, reliable, and timely deliveries even under pressure.
  • High level of personal initiative regarding problem solutions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and establish effective working relationships.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Must possess a strong technological awareness and tenacity.
Education and Experience

Masters in Science in Engineering is preferred. Bachelor in Engineering is required. Minimum of 5 years in Automotive industry dealing with major OEMs or Tier1 suppliers as sales(Account Manager) or Sales Engineer Program Management experience is preferred.
