Position Overview

As an Electromechanical Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with a team focused on assessing and delivering solutions for a variety of unique requests that arise within our organization. This role involves cross-training in multiple electro-mechanical disciplines and technologies to evaluate new innovations and their applicability to potential markets. You will engage with our Sales, Product Management, and Engineering teams to assist in developing tailored solutions for our clients. This team serves as a vital link between our highly skilled mechanical, fluid, and electrical engineering teams to ensure projects commence effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Morrell sales team to identify mechanical application opportunities.
  • Create electro-mechanical proposals and quotations for general automation, aerospace, automotive, and various other sectors.
  • Develop proposals and quotations for Bosch conveyor and mechatronic systems based on customer specifications.
  • Compile a Bill of Materials for each project, ensuring accurate sizing and selection of components.
  • Facilitate design review meetings involving customers, sales, and engineering teams from Morrell and Stegner Controls.
  • Participate in training sessions, which may include travel, for Bosch Rexroth and other necessary product lines to meet customer requirements.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of machinery across diverse applications and market segments.
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with clients by delivering prompt and precise service to enhance customer loyalty.
  • Effectively communicate and present complex concepts in an easily digestible manner.
  • Encourage a positive team atmosphere by supporting colleagues.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills

Educational Background
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • Technical or vocational training in electrical or mechanical fields is advantageous.
Professional Experience

  • A solid foundation in mechatronics and motion control systems.
