Position Overview:

The Registered Nurse Proceduralist is responsible for delivering expert nursing care to patients in a clinical setting, adhering to established protocols and practices. This role serves as the primary communication link between patients, healthcare providers, and support staff, ensuring seamless coordination of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing care to clinic patients, following established standards.
  • Assist healthcare providers and team members in managing patient care effectively.
  • Supervise and guide LPNs, CNAs, and scheduling staff.
  • Receive direction from healthcare providers and clinical managers.

Education Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • Compliance with ongoing education standards as mandated by state and federal regulations.

Experience:

  • Strong background in nursing care related to urological health.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Active RN license in the relevant state.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient in bladder instillations, urodynamics, and catheter management.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and nursing principles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic computer and office skills.
