Key ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse in our Gastroenterology Clinic will:
- Deliver both direct and indirect patient care within the clinic environment.
- Exhibit initiative, adaptability, and accountability in all aspects of care, requiring minimal supervision.
- Assess and prioritize patient care based on their physical and psychosocial needs, as well as the dynamics affecting patient flow.
- Maintain effective communication with clinic physicians regarding any changes in patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic results.
- Respond promptly and accurately to any alterations in patient condition or treatment responses.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- The ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse individuals and navigate challenging situations.
- Conflict resolution skills to handle disputes with professionalism.
The Registered Nurse will:
- Perform all assigned job duties and responsibilities.
- Adhere to all relevant regulations, requirements, and procedures set forth by licensing boards and agencies.
- Comply with all policies and procedures established by Benefis Health System.
Education/License/Experience Requirements:
- Current state registered nurse license is mandatory.
- Current BLS Certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
