Position Summary

We are in search of a skilled and driven Audit Senior to become an integral part of a vibrant team in the Cayman Islands. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing audit engagements, nurturing client relationships, and delivering top-notch assurance services. The ideal candidate will exhibit robust technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a dedication to providing exemplary client service.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct audit engagements from initial planning to final completion, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and firm policies.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, offering support and direction to enhance their professional growth.
  • Examine financial statements and audit documentation to verify accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Engage effectively with clients to ascertain their needs and deliver customized audit solutions.
  • Identify and address audit challenges, recommending practical solutions and improvements.
  • Remain informed about current accounting and auditing standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with various departments within the firm to provide comprehensive services to clients.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of CPA, ACCA, CA, or an equivalent professional credential.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in Financial Services is essential, particularly in Funds or Captive Insurance.
  • A minimum of 3 years of audit experience, ideally within a public accounting environment.
  • Strong technical proficiency in auditing standards and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
