Position Overview

We are seeking a TEG Clinical Consultant to enhance our operations.

ROLE SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of this role is to facilitate the sales process through clinical education and continuous demonstration of the value of the TEG product line.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are essential to the role and may evolve based on business needs:

  • Enhance product utilization within current accounts and broaden the customer base by providing clinical education to new users, ensuring they can operate TEG equipment and software effectively and safely.
  • Conduct training sessions for both new and existing clients on all clinical and product-related aspects of the TEG line, ensuring comprehensive follow-up.
  • Deliver clinical expertise to ensure that TEG meets the required standards of care within client accounts.
  • Drive business growth by expanding the application of TEG across all assays within client accounts.
  • Engage with assigned hospital accounts, identify and train clinical advocates, and build relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Provide dedicated on-site support for new TEG clients during the implementation of the technology or additional assays.
  • Address customer inquiries through thorough and timely investigations, collaborating with sales team members to devise solutions.
  • Enhance professional and technical knowledge by participating in educational workshops, reviewing relevant publications, and engaging with professional networks.
  • Maintain accurate records of responsibilities and customer interactions in the designated area.
  • Deliver presentations, conduct training sessions, and provide in-service education as needed.
  • Assist clients in customizing their TEG training materials and requirements.
  • Analyze competitive offerings and convert existing accounts to TEG solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Account Manager to target key accounts for growth and forecast revenue increases during business planning sessions.
  • Support clinicians in various specialties, including VAD/ECMO, Trauma, CV, and Critical Care, in their use of TEG.
  • Participate in regional and national trade shows to promote TEG products.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Nursing, or Medical Technology.
Preferred:
  • Master's Degree or advanced professional credentials.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Preferred:
  • Three years of experience in a related industry, preferably in diagnostics.
Required:
  • Clinical or industry experience in a hospital or operating room environment.
  • Experience in developing and delivering clinical education and training programs.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
  • Strong written communication abilities.
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Proven leadership and management capabilities.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of blood management practices.
  • Technical and clinical aptitude to train customers on product usage, including operating the TEG Analyzer and interpreting results.
