**Job Summary**

Bishop Drumm Retirement Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Activity Director to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing activities programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement activities programs and budgets that meet the needs and interests of our residents.
  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and evaluate a diversified activities program that includes events, outings, and recreational activities.
  • Develop and revise department policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting standards.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure adequate staffing levels and high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee and direct resident activities and schedules to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation (CTRS) or equivalent experience.
  • Two years of experience in social or recreational programs, preferably in long-term care.
