Administrative Coordinator for Emergency Management

Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator for Emergency Management to join our team at My Florida Corp Defunct. In this role, you will provide critical support to our emergency management programs, ensuring the effective delivery of our services.
About the Job
You will work closely with our programmatic units to provide administrative support, research, and technical assistance. You will also assist in preparing outreach materials, reports, and presentations, as well as conducting site visits and data collection.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to our programmatic units, including preparation of reports, presentations, and outreach materials
- Assist in researching and providing technical assistance on mitigation-related issues
- Conduct site visits and data collection to support grant applications and projects
- Support the development and implementation of grants management procedures
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Florida Certified Contract Manager certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to travel overnight and work non-traditional hours during emergency events
Salary and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of $32,000 per year, based on experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
