The Emergency Department Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care during their designated shift. Collaborating with management and nursing staff, the CNC directs and evaluates nursing services to support outstanding patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of patient admissions and discharges to maintain efficient services.
  • Continuous assessment of care quality with the management team.
  • Championing teamwork and creating an environment that promotes better outcomes.
  • Advocating for a patient-first philosophy and facilitating service recovery as needed.
  • Operationalizing nursing strategies to enhance staff engagement and patient service.
  • Contributing to hiring and training processes to develop staff potential.
  • Managing staff scheduling and ensuring compliance with care needs.
  • Overseeing inventory control and resource management.

Qualifications:

  • Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications within 30 days of hire.
  • Current Florida RN license required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience is preferred.
