Overview:


The Lead Product Strategist for Chemical and Film Products will report directly to the Vice President of Product Management. This role is pivotal in shaping product strategy, defining market positioning, and overseeing product roadmap planning and prioritization, along with budget management.

This position collaborates extensively with various departments within the organization to successfully launch new products and ensure effective execution of the budget plan.

FUJIFILM North America Corporation, a marketing subsidiary of FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation, encompasses six operational divisions.

The Imaging Division offers a range of consumer and commercial photographic products and services, including silver halide consumables, inkjet consumables, digital printing equipment, personalized photo products, film, one-time-use cameras, and the renowned INSTAX line of instant cameras and accessories.

The Electronic Imaging Division promotes its GFX System and X Series lines of mirrorless digital cameras, lenses, and accessories, providing diverse content creation solutions for both still and moving images.

The Optical Devices Division supplies optical lenses for various markets, including broadcast, cinematography, closed circuit television, videography, and industrial applications, along with binoculars and other optical imaging solutions.

The Graphic Communication Division leverages its extensive industry expertise to develop comprehensive traditional and digital print solutions for sectors such as commercial print, wide format, and packaging, featuring a robust lineup of digital inkjet presses, production toner printers, and software.

The Industrial Products Division introduces innovative products derived from Fujifilm technologies, including data storage tape products, OEM and FUJIFILM Ultrium LTO cartridges, desalination solutions, microfilters, and gas separation membranes.

The Non-Destructive Testing Division provides radiography solutions to ensure precise inspection of transportation infrastructure and assets within the aerospace and oil and gas sectors.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop functional product solutions, prioritize features/content, build consensus, facilitate communication, and coordinate product schedules with various internal teams including development, content, sales, marketing, customer support, and executives.
  • Define technical, operational, and business requirements for all related product solution initiatives.
  • Gather new features and enhancements from customers and prospects to inform the software road-mapping process.
  • Oversee the creation and management of product line budgets and P&L statements.
  • Manage account proposals and product pricing while advocating for improved ROI.
  • Collaborate with the product team to identify technical dependencies and align business needs with infrastructure capabilities.
  • Own the product roadmap and communicate development priorities to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive the design and development of packaging, focusing on functionality based on market needs and customer feedback.
  • Collect and prioritize business and market requirements from various stakeholders.
  • Participate in the architecture, design, and review of system platforms.
  • Work with sales support and marketing communication teams to plan and implement marketing strategies for all products and programs.
  • Analyze feedback and industry trends from customers, prospects, competitors, and analysts.
  • Plan the launch of new products and releases, managing the cross-functional implementation of the launch plan.
  • Oversee customer allocation of high-demand products and monitor sales to redistribute allocations to meet budget targets.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing to provide monthly rolling forecasts for components, balancing needs across product offerings to maximize revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, OEM manufacturers, and contract packagers to communicate priorities and secure supply.
  • Develop pricing strategies that ensure profitability across product categories.

Required Skills/Education:
  • BS/BA in a technical field or business (MBA preferred).
  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in product management.
  • Strong aptitude for technology and the ability to connect technical concepts with customer value.
  • Proven experience in building and managing product roadmaps.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills, with the ability to see the big picture and develop a long-term vision while executing within realistic budgets.
  • Project management skills and a history of strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Team player with the ability to quickly establish internal relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in developing, monitoring, and managing budgets and P&L statements.
