Agricultural Sales Executive

We are looking for an experienced Agricultural Sales Executive to oversee direct sales operations related to our distinctive and specialized Agribusiness Insurance Solutions. These solutions are designed to safeguard Agribusinesses against revenue losses resulting from the cancellation of products or services provided to farmers due to adverse weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Underwriters and other team members to promote new offerings to major growers and agribusiness service providers.
- Assist current clients with policy renewals and provide necessary field support.
- Deliver presentations and conduct field visits for potential clients and at industry trade events.
- Engage in both phone and face-to-face sales interactions with prospects.
- Partner with the Marketing team to create effective sales support materials and tools.
- Design and implement innovative sales strategies to enhance market reach.
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in sales, customer service, or a related area.
- Background in selling agricultural products or services to farmers, especially in row crop sectors.
- Proficiency with CRM software platforms.
- Strong dedication to working with both large growers and agribusiness entities.
- Proven ability to establish trusted relationships and rapport with clients.
- Experience in agricultural Property & Casualty insurance and/or crop insurance is a plus.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the Midwest (approximately 50% travel required).
