Sales Executive
Job Summary
This role is for a Sales Executive responsible for net new logo sales in Dewpoint. This role will require hands-on business development focused on Dewpoint's IT services capabilities. The role focuses on selling all Dewpoint services within the Southeast Michigan area. Services Include but are not limited to Dewpoint's Security, Managed IT, Professional Services, and Technology sales.
Dewpoint is a leading IT provider in Michigan, with multiple solutions and a history of delivering professional IT services and value for clients.
Key Job Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility is identifying, qualifying, managing, and closing new opportunities for Dewpoint services and Technology solutions.

• Collaborating with Dewpoint business development and marketing teams to identify and qualify new business through calls, networking, social media, and attending industry shows/events.

• Identifying and developing new business through networking, courtesy, and follow-up calls.

• Understanding client's business needs and aligning to appropriate Dewpoint services and solutions while closely collaborating with Dewpoint presales solution architects and service delivery teams.

• Preparing and delivering prospective client presentations articulately and confidently.

• Developing and nurturing sales relationships.

• Developing effective sales plans using sales methodology.

• Facilitate prospective client project scoping and estimating, including creating statements of work, in close collaboration with the service delivery team.

• Track, update, and manage sales pipeline in Salesforce CRM.

• Meeting sales and team targets KPIs together with the sales team and the leadership.

• Managing workload to organize and prioritize daily and weekly goals.

• Contributing to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues.

• Maintaining awareness and keeping abreast of constantly changing technology.

Required

• 3+ years in a sales representative role within technology with consistent annual quota performance.

• Strong solution selling skills or management consulting and ability to create messaging that demonstrates offering value to clients.

• Experience selling into the new logo business.

• Demonstrated success in finding, qualifying, nurturing, and closing technology services and solutions.

• Demonstrated success in closing new customers with projects over $50,000 to $1,000,000 in contract value (Holistic solutions that combine Technology, Software and Professional Services preferred).

• Strong communication skills and ability to listen, understand, and manage internal stakeholders, prospects, and 3rd party partners (e.g., Microsoft).

• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling services.

• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.

• Ability to travel on a modest to moderate basis, as appropriate.

• Experience with information technology sales.

• Ability to consult with clients at all organizational levels to sell solutions or products from Dewpoint.

• Experience developing a sales plan.

• Excellent follow-up skills in responding to clients.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently.

Compensation

• Competitive pay consisting of base salary plus commission plan.

Territory: Southeast Michigan.

Minimum Physical Expectations

• Physical activity that sometimes requires bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and/or twisting.

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.

• Must hear and speak well enough to conduct business over the telephone or face-to-face (in English) for long periods of time.

Minimum Environmental Expectations

• This position will require working indoors. A typical workweek is eight (8) hour workdays, five (5) days per week, with some weekend work and longer hours as needed.
