Job Summary

Operate and maintain all equipment, including HVAC systems, high-pressure boilers, generators, and steam equipment. Read and record information from meters and gauges to verify operating conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer service by providing one-on-one attention to detail.
  • Respond to dispatch calls for machine and equipment repairs.
  • Call on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; resolve service complaints.
  • Inspect machines and equipment to determine locate causes of malfunctions, dismantle machines to gain access to problem area.
  • Inspect parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems; remove and replace worn or defective parts; repair broken parts; realign and adjust components; test machine operation following repair.
  • Review inventory and order parts; ship and receive machines; maintain equipment inventory.
  • Set up and operate mechanical equipment and small hand tools for machine and equipment repair.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment; perform job safely.
  • Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Type I Refrigeration Certification and valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license.
