Identify and communicate the relevant 'Grainger Value Proposition' to each client and evaluate how Grainger can enhance value and assist with their purchasing requirements.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop a strategic territory plan that optimizes travel routes, maximizes field time, and ensures you are executing a sales strategy that meets performance benchmarks. Maintain client and account interactions, documenting follow-up details in Grainger's CRM system.
Adopt a proactive stance in boosting sales with each client while utilizing a diverse range of communication methods to maximize their purchasing potential through all of Grainger's sales and service avenues.
Be responsive to clients' immediate needs. Drive revenue to meet established targets. Achieve or surpass shared metrics related to daily outreach and customer engagement. Provide accurate reporting on the overall outcomes of customer interactions. Identify sales opportunities, negotiate deals, and manage client needs and cost considerations.Report to the Field Sales Manager. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year of sales experience. High School Diploma or GED; two or four-year degree preferred. A valid driver's license is required. Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight (depending on territory).
