Job Title: Director of Marketing Operations and Analytics

At OwnBackup, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Marketing Operations and Analytics to join our team. As a key member of our marketing organization, you will be responsible for driving the effectiveness and efficiency of our marketing initiatives by analyzing data, developing actionable insights, and making strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of marketing operations processes, tools, and infrastructure to support scalable growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing activities with broader business objectives.
  • Drive operational projects for growth strategies across various channels, including events, digital marketing, partner marketing, content marketing, customer marketing, ABM/ABX, SEO, SEM, and social media.
  • Partner with Finance to manage the marketing budget and spend forecasts.
  • Improve marketing attribution model to provide better visibility into marketing's performance and contribution to pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Oversee omni-channel marketing programs involving various personas, channels, products, and industries - ensuring programs align to best practices and marketing priorities.
  • Integrate AI into marketing operations management to automate processes, deliver personalized content, and enhance attribution models, thereby improving efficiency, scalability, and resource allocation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, data analytics, or a related role, preferably within the software industry.
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling marketing operations and analytics teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and data science principles, with the ability to apply these to marketing operations and analytics.
  • Strong expertise in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Pardot, Marketo), CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), ABM (e.g., 6sense), Chatbot, and data analytics tools (e.g., Looker, Google Analytics).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with a focus on driving results and achieving business objectives.
