Job Description

Doors of Hope Inc has immediate openings for Child and Family Therapist. As a therapist, you will be working with a multidisciplinary, culturally oriented clinical team. Under the supervision of the Clinical Director, the Child and Family Therapist is responsible for providing social emotional/mental health services for children and youth between the ages of 5 to 18.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide Psychotherapy/Counselling to assigned caseload of clients aged 5-18 years old and/or their families.
  • Collaborate with clients, family, school, and community stakeholders as needed.
  • Maintain client records per program confidentiality guidelines and fidelity.
  • Monitor and track caseload requirements.
  • Provide referrals to external/internal support.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in social work, marriage & family therapy, counseling, psychology, or other related field.
  • Must be Licensed in Washington, D.C. (Psychologist, LICSW, LPC, LGSW, LCPC, PhD).
  • Experience in Evidence-Based Practices.
Experience
  • Must be eligible to bill insurance for therapy provided.
  • Minimum two years of experience providing therapeutic interventions to Children and Youth ages 5 to 18 years.
  • Indepth knowledge and experience working in child/youth mental health.
