MECA Therapies, LLC is seeking a dedicated Home Visiting Service Provider to foster safe and nurturing connections between young children and their caregivers. This role is essential in implementing strategies that mitigate adverse childhood experiences while promoting overall wellbeing.

Qualifications

Education and Certification: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, along with an Infant Mental Health Certification to be obtained within two years of employment.

Key Responsibilities

The Home Visiting Service Provider will adhere to Local, State, and Federal Regulations, as well as MECA policies. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying families and expectant mothers who could benefit from home visiting services
  2. Assessing eligibility based on standardized criteria
  3. Creating transition plans in collaboration with families
  4. Setting measurable goals based on assessments and selected curricula aimed at enhancing the caregiver-child relationship
  5. Conducting scheduled visits tailored to family needs
  6. Encouraging safe and nurturing interactions between children and caregivers
  7. Implementing preventive strategies to promote wellbeing
  8. Supporting parental competence and early childhood development through home-based interventions
  9. Building relationships and supporting wellness across various domains for families
  10. Providing prenatal and post-partum home visits
  11. Establishing measurable outcomes for children and families
  12. Delivering parenting education focused on developmental guidance
  13. Conducting health, safety, and developmental screenings
  14. Connecting families with community resources
  15. Engaging in reflective supervision with clinical supervisors to ensure cultural sensitivity
  16. Documenting visits and maintaining accurate records in compliance with HIPAA
  17. Conducting annual family satisfaction surveys
  18. Involving families in treatment goal setting and training
  19. Promoting the Home Visiting program within the community
  20. Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings for children receiving early intervention services
Caseload Management

The Home Visiting Service Provider will manage a caseload assigned by the regional director, providing services to 15-28 families based on their needs.

Productivity Expectations

The Home Visiting Service Provider is expected to meet a 100% productivity goal, ensuring each family is visited at least once a month for a minimum of 90 minutes.

Documentation Requirements

Accurate data collection and timely documentation are critical. Responsibilities include:

  1. Documenting therapy sessions and progress
  2. Entering data into the designated database within 24 hours of visits
  3. Maintaining organized files in compliance with regulations
Professional Development

The Home Visiting Service Provider will support and guide families while complying with mandatory training requirements, including:

  1. Providing in-house training to staff
  2. Obtaining Infant Mental Health Certification within two years
  3. Participating in mandatory meetings and training sessions
  4. Completing a professional development self-assessment
  5. Developing a Professional Development Plan within two weeks of hire
Supervision and Quality Assurance

Reflective supervision is required at least twice a month, with a focus on maintaining quality services by:

  1. Ensuring families understand their rights
  2. Respecting the rights of families at all times
  3. Conducting regular file audits

MECA staff must adhere to all applicable State and Federal guidelines, as well as internal policies and procedures.
