Position Overview:

The Assistant Project Manager will collaborate closely with Project Managers to manage critical documentation for various construction initiatives. This role is essential in supporting project execution from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside Project Managers to identify, process, and document necessary submissions for construction projects.
  • Assist in developing and managing subcontractor agreements under the guidance of Project Managers.
  • Support additional documentation needs related to construction projects.
  • Help compile lists of subcontractors for bidding opportunities and assist during the bidding process.
  • Prepare meeting agendas and document minutes effectively.
  • Track project progress, including schedules, ongoing work, RFIs, and punch lists.
  • Communicate with clients, building owners, contractors, and field support staff.
  • Coordinate and schedule the delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Monitor and document adherence to job site safety protocols.
  • Assist with project closeout activities.
  • Exhibit flexibility to work outside standard hours, including weekends, as required.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience within the construction sector.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, BlueBeam, and MS Project.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Willingness to learn various facets of the construction industry.
