Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Lead to join our team at our Vintage Oaks @ Novato store. As a Sales Lead, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client services, operating as the Manager on Duty, and performing operational and transactional functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional client services, ensuring that clients receive a personalized and engaging experience.
  • Operate as the Manager on Duty, assuming responsibility for the store's operations and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform operational and transactional functions, including handling client service issues, issuing approvals for desk transactions, and opening and closing the store.
  • Support the Store Manager and Co-Manager in overseeing the operational functioning of the store, including driving revenue, utilizing tools to ensure a client-focused team environment, and coaching associates on client interactions and performance.
  • Assume PIN and signature privileges for register functions requiring approval, utilize reports to make effective merchandising decisions, and style the store in Division standards.
  • Ensure optimal coverage and productivity in all areas of the store through scheduling appropriately, complete daily tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly, and meet all ANN INC. standards and guidelines.
  • Embody our values, set an example through behaviors, and treat others fairly and with respect, valuing differences.
Requirements
  • Client Service: Ensure that the client remains the top priority while balancing required tasks and overall store operations.
  • Store Operations and Organization: Ability to organize, delegate, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
  • Merchandising: Knowledge of visual standards and techniques, and ability to implement and maintain with ANN INC.'s guidelines.
  • Accuracy: Ability to handle cash and provide change without error, prepare nightly deposit as necessary, and capture accurate information for all transactions.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with Clients, Members of Management, Business Partners, and Store Associates.
  • Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including evening and weekend shifts.
  • Physical: Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally, maneuver effectively around sales floor, stock room, and office.
Education and Experience
  • Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum six months Sales Associate experience with ANN INC. or equivalent experience with another retailer in a position of sales associate or higher.
  • Part-time or full-time managerial experience preferred.
