Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives while ensuring profitability.
- Achieve sales targets on an annual, quarterly, and monthly basis with a strong emphasis on accountability and integrity.
- Build and nurture relationships with internal sales teams to leverage synergies and drive joint sales initiatives.
- Create a strategic sales plan that identifies and prioritizes prospects and customers based on their potential impact.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales and inside sales team to formulate an annual marketing strategy and identify joint marketing opportunities.
- Conduct market assessments and competitor analyses to inform pricing strategies and counteract competitive pressures.
- Analyze market data to provide insights on competitive positioning and company strengths and weaknesses, sharing recommendations with leadership.
- Schedule customer meetings to deliver sales presentations that promote our comprehensive product offerings.
- Manage existing accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities to meet revenue goals.
- Foster strong customer relationships to secure repeat business.
- Provide feedback and collaborate with Manufacturer Representatives/Distributors in the assigned area.
- Maintain regular communication with the Sales and Production Teams to ensure alignment with sales and client objectives.
- Deliver product training to various customer types at both field and corporate levels.
- Assess and implement effective sales techniques to enhance regional sales performance.
- Prepare and submit periodic sales activity reports as required.
- Attend relevant industry conventions, sales seminars, and trade shows.
- Oversee a designated geo-region to achieve sales revenue and customer support objectives as defined by the Director of Sales.
- Offer technical support and expertise to customers in reviewing specifications and applying products.
- Manage sales, profit margins, and operational expenses within the assigned territory.
- Formulate and execute growth strategies that yield sustainable sales revenue.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts.
- Identify and convert new customer sales opportunities that contribute to territory revenue.
- Uphold integrity and ethical standards in all interactions with customers, partners, and employees.
- Expand the customer base in adjacent segments to diversify market share beyond oil and gas.
- Engage in Lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Report any unsafe conditions or actions to management immediately.

Candidate Requirements

- Must reside in the Bakken region.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% within the territory.

Compensation and Qualifications

- Competitive base salary with eligibility for a quarterly sales incentive bonus.
- Bachelor's degree in business, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or 5 years of relevant sales experience in the oil and gas sector.
- Minimum of 3 years supporting sales teams.
- Technical knowledge of oil and gas chemical injection pumps.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong results-oriented mindset with excellent follow-up skills.
- Experience in contract negotiations and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to lead by example and provide clear direction.
- Capability to produce detailed sales reports and communicate effectively with customers at all levels.
- A professional demeanor and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Openness to change and new information, promoting collaboration and sharing best practices.

Physical Demands

- Ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs and frequent use of a keyboard.
- Air travel and long-distance driving may be required.
