Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary representative of the School to the Dean and collaborate with various departments and external organizations.
  • Drive the strategic goals of the School in alignment with the broader objectives of the College.
  • Oversee the administration and resource management of the School, ensuring compliance with university policies.
  • Lead faculty and staff to meet accreditation standards and manage budgetary responsibilities effectively.
  • Engage in fundraising and grant activities to support the School's initiatives.
  • Foster a positive environment for students, staff, and faculty, promoting inclusivity and conflict resolution.
  • Provide leadership in field education and maintain partnerships with relevant agencies.
  • Contribute to teaching, research, and service within the academic community.
Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in social work or a related field.
  • Master's degree in social work from an accredited program.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and a strong research portfolio.
  • Experience in teaching at the graduate level.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior administrative experience in higher education.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and online education.
  • Familiarity with accreditation processes and standards.
