Position Overview:

The selected candidate will manage project activities related to the development of a new Salesforce application aimed at enhancing customer relationship management for immunizations. This initiative focuses on creating a unified support tool that enables users to submit and track service requests efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development phases of the project.
  • Ensure compliance with established client standards and develop necessary project documentation in line with the Texas Project Delivery Framework.
  • Utilize feature-driven Agile methodologies to manage project progress and ensure alignment with timelines.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project plans.
  • Identify and document risks and issues, implementing contingency strategies as needed.
  • Provide regular updates on project status through written and verbal communication, and facilitate team meetings.
  • Oversee the creation of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) documentation, ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into technical specifications.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders and project sponsors.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Transfer knowledge to existing team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience in project management for large-scale enterprise implementations.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience managing projects within state or federal agencies.
  • Proven communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels for a minimum of 8 years.
  • Experience coordinating both business and technical teams for at least 8 years.
  • Strong presentation and problem-solving skills with a minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management and software development methodologies for at least 8 years.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Texas Project Delivery Framework.
  • PMP certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of state procurement and contracting processes.
  • Experience using Jira and Project Portfolio Management tools.
