Territory Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Territory Manager to join our team at Installed Building Products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze market conditions and develop long-term marketing plans to drive business growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the construction industry, focusing on fabricated metal building insulation, mechanical/industrial products, spray foam, fiberglass, air barriers/waterproofing, and other related products.
  • Collaborate with Inside Sales to provide timely proposals and ensure seamless client communication.
  • Attend client meetings, customer appreciation events, product shows, and other industry-related events to build strong relationships and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Travel up to 50% to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Requirements:
  • College degree desired.
  • 2-5 years of successful experience in a related role.
  • Goal-orientation, competitiveness, discipline, motivation, and a drive to achieve results.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate and negotiate with a variety of personalities.
  • Integrity, hard work, and a positive team-first attitude.
  • Humility and the ability to give and receive feedback.
  • Microsoft Office software proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook) and typing skills.
