POSITION SUMMARY

Oversee the collaboration of staff to ensure a cohesive team environment. Monitor the appearance and attire of team members, addressing any discrepancies. Engage with guests and colleagues to fulfill guest requirements and expectations. Address and accommodate any specific arrangements for banquet events. Prepare the banquet space, ensuring cleanliness and appropriate setup of furniture and equipment. Regularly inspect table arrangements for tidiness and compliance with group specifications and organizational standards, resolving any issues that arise. Record relevant information in the designated departmental logbook.

Support management in the recruitment, training, scheduling, assessment, counseling, and motivation of team members. Foster and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, promoting teamwork to achieve shared objectives. Adhere to all organizational and safety protocols; report incidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; and complete necessary safety training and certifications. Ensure that uniforms and personal appearance are professional and tidy, maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, and safeguard company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, proactively addressing service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing gratitude to guests sincerely. Communicate effectively with others using clear and professional language, and answer phone calls with appropriate etiquette. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in various formats. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently and those over 75 pounds with assistance. Utilize fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights. Navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related role.

Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory capacity.

License or Certification: None required.
