The Maintenance Company, Inc (TMC) operates as a nationwide facility maintenance organization, delivering maintenance management solutions to commercial properties across the United States and Canada.

Position Summary

We are in search of a client support specialist (CSS) who will take charge of overseeing, organizing, and ensuring the effective fulfillment of maintenance service requests. This role involves communication with facility managers, site supervisors, and service technicians through various channels including phone, email, and online platforms.


Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the intermediary between clients and service technicians
  • Provide scheduling and service updates to clients via email or online platforms
  • Manage service orders within our system by documenting detailed notes on scheduling statuses and work performed
  • Dispatch service orders to technicians for approved estimates
  • Prioritize service requests, including urgent services, to ensure completion within designated timeframes
  • Oversee service technician pricing and job costs
  • Research necessary information, process service orders, and accurately enter data.
  • Foster customer satisfaction and uphold company integrity


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to understand and interpret instructions
  • Basic to intermediate computer proficiency
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook or similar email applications
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, with attention to detail, and prioritize several service orders simultaneously
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines
