Position Overview
CornerStone Staffing is seeking an experienced Office Administrator to support the Compliance Department. This role involves a variety of administrative and accounting tasks essential for the smooth operation of the department.

Job Title: Office Administrator
Work Schedule: Standard business hours, Monday to Friday

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate

Contract Duration: Temporary assignment

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the intake of both electronic and physical mail, ensuring proper indexing for routing.
  • Handle incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate Policy Manager.
  • Manage routine administrative tasks related to insurance compliance.
  • Process and pay invoices from third-party vendors efficiently.
  • Reconcile and allocate fees from various Departments of Insurance (DOIs).
  • Maintain communication with DOIs, Bureaus, and Clients as necessary.
  • Perform daily administrative tasks, including the distribution of incoming mail and processing litigation requests.
  • Assist callers who require support beyond the reception staff's capabilities.
  • Develop a foundational understanding of the products and markets served by the organization.

Additional Duties

  • Provide administrative assistance to management as required.
  • Carry out other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an office or administrative role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Some college education is preferred.
  • Experience in an insurance company or agency is advantageous.
