Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to serve as a technical authority at the Machining Operations Center (MOC). This facility specializes in the fabrication of precision machined parts for defense systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the technical direction and operational efficiency of designated projects. This role involves collaboration with diverse teams, formulating manufacturing process strategies, ensuring comprehensive work instructions, and providing essential support on the shop floor. Additionally, the candidate will oversee project metrics and spearhead initiatives for continuous enhancement.

  • In-depth knowledge of machining processes
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM technologies
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints and GD&T
  • Experience with precision measurement instruments
  • Strong project management capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Practical experience with CAD/CAM applications
  • Background in leading Capital and R&D initiatives
  • Understanding of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
  • Awareness of industry standards and practices

Additional Information:

This is a full-time role requiring on-site presence.
