Customer Service Representative II

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative II to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and company results by facilitating the efficient conversion of customer requirements into timely shipment of product.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and enter all sales order information in the company computer system and develop, compile, and maintain data on customer-related issues in PC software.
- Select the product and process the necessary paperwork to initiate daily shipments based on the customer's requested delivery requests.
- Coordinate customer expedites, including quoting freight charges, logging the expedite for approval, communicating delivery details internally and externally, and monitoring until closure.
- Provide customers with requested information through both oral and written communication.
- Expedite all intra-company functions to assure timely shipment of product and escalate issues as needed.

- Assist in the development of production schedules for specific product lines.
- Monitor customer websites during prescribed windows of time to identify changes in customer requirements and modify internal computer systems to reflect these changes.
- Process and distribute daily production reports to management and supervisory personnel.
- Record distribution center complaints and follow up to assure corrective action is implemented, including Return Material Authorizations.
- Prepare a variety of weekly or month-end reports for management review.
- Support the Materials Department personnel in data collection, analysis, expediting, and reporting as required.
- Assist with annual physical inventory.
- Support and participate in the company's management and quality systems, continuous improvement efforts, environmental policies, etc.
- Associate's or 2-Year Degree in a related field.
- 2-4 years of Account Support/Customer Service experience.
- Automotive Industry experience preferred.
- Organized, analytical thinking is a must.
- Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, pleasant telephone etiquette, and interpersonal skills.
- Some travel expected up to 10%.
