Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at UW Health Clinics. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, cost-effective care to patients in our inpatient and ambulatory care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct routine physical exams and focused health histories to identify patient needs.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing to establish a working diagnosis and develop a treatment plan.
  • Prescribe medications and/or treatment and monitor patient response.
  • Participate in education and training programs to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements
  • Master's or Doctorate's degree from an accredited Nursing Program (Nurse Practitioner) or Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited PA Program (Physician Assistant).
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
  • State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure and active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice.
  • Active PA board certification (Physician Assistant).
  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
