Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider

UW Health is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our inpatient and ambulatory care teams. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality, cost-effective care to patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses, including vascular disorders, hepatobiliary disease, and cancer.
  • Perform minor procedures, such as paracenteses, central line removals, and drain manipulation/removals.
  • Conduct triage, new patient consultations, and daily rounding as an integral member of our expanding inpatient interventional radiology consult service.
  • Collaborate with interventional radiologists, nurses, technologists, and other advanced practice providers to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctorate's degree from an accredited Nursing Program (for Nurse Practitioners) or Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited PA Program (for Physician Assistants).
  • State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure.
  • Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice (for Nurse Practitioners).
  • Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice (for Physician Assistants).
  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
