Job Summary:

The Advanced Practice Provider will be responsible for providing bedside first-assist coverage for robotic surgical cases, assisting in navigating patients through the perioperative experience, and communicating with the perioperative team regarding physician requests and preferences.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide bedside first-assist coverage for robotic surgical cases
  • Assist in navigating patients through the perioperative experience
  • Communicate with the perioperative team regarding physician requests and preferences
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care
Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctorate's degree from an accredited nursing program (for Nurse Practitioners)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited PA program (for Physician Assistants)
  • Active RN, RN First Assist, and APNP license in the State of Wisconsin (for Nurse Practitioners)
  • Active PA license in the State of Wisconsin (for Physician Assistants)
  • Active board certification as a NP in Adult, Adult/Gerontology Primary Care, Emergency, Family, or Gerontology (for Nurse Practitioners)
  • Active PA board certification (for Physician Assistants)
  • Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
  • CPR certification
